Latur City Assembly Election Result 2024 Updates: Amit Deshmukh leads by 1,002 votes, Archana Chakurkar trails closely

Amit Vilasrao Deshmukh of the Indian National Congress (INC) is leading with a margin of 1,002 votes, securing a total of 76,948 votes in the ongoing election. Dr. Archana Patil Chakurkar of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) trails closely with 75,946 votes. Vinod Somprakash Khatke of Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi is trailing significantly with 21,391 votes, behind by 55,557 votes. The race remains tight as the counting progresses.

The Latur City Assembly constituency witnessed a steady rise in registered voters over the years, reaching a total of 4,00,034 for the 2024 elections. This includes 2,05,626 male voters, 1,94,378 female voters, and 30 voters from the third gender.
