Shares of SEPC gained 1.5 percent in the early trade on December 5 after the company bagged a project worth Rs 427.8 crore from the Jharkhand government.
At 9:36am, SEPC was quoting Rs 19.66, up Rs 0.30, or 1.55 percent, on the BSE.
The Drinking Water and Sanitation Department of the Government of Jharkhand has accepted the bid for a contract price of Rs 427.79 crore.
The project is for construction of intake well with a gangway 257 metres long, RCC riser for rising main, elevated service reservoir, sump site development, approach road, supplying and installation of VT and centrifugal pump motor, staff quarters, house connection on turnkey basis, the company said.
The project is to be executed in 27 months from the date of agreement, excluding three months of trial run and thereafter five years of operation and maintenance, it added.
