Gammon India rises 16%; bags Rs 1710cr order from NHAI

    Moneycontrol BureauShares of Gammon India rose more than 16 percent intraday Monday. The company has received an order of Rs 1709.99 crore from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).The order includes development of four laning of Udhampur to Ramban section of NH-1A from km 67 to km 89 and km 130 to km 151 in the state of Jammu & Kashmir under phase-II.Earlier in this month, the company had bagged a road project worth Rs 397 crore from the Goa government.At 09:38 hrs Gammon India was quoting at Rs 12.55, up Rs 1.24, or 10.96 percent on the BSE.Posted by Rakesh Patil
