Amtek Auto up 6% ahead of EGM for issue of shares to promoters

Shares of Amtek Auto gained 6 percent intraday Wednesday as it is going to consider the issue of shares to the promoters.The company's extra-ordinary general meeting (EGM) to be held on March 25 to consider issue of 2.35 crore equity shares to 2 promoter companies i.e. Aisa International & Amtek Laboratories on preferential basis.The company is going to issue shares to promoter companies at Rs 50 per share including premium of Rs 48 per share.Also Read - Metalyst Forgings up 8% ahead of EGM to issue shares, warrantsAs per BSE shareholding pattern, as on December 2016, Aisa International & Amtek Laboratories holds 5.63 percent and 7.34 percent stake respectively in the company.At 09:36 hrs Amtek Auto was quoting at Rs 39.30, up Rs 1.25, or 3.29 percent on the BSE.Posted by Rakesh Patil
