Invest in SBI, says Amisha Vora, Joint Managing Director, Prabhudas Lilladher.

Vora told CNBC-TV18, "For the immediate short term maybe the private sector banks who have taken a beating may pullback but on a slightly medium to long term basis somebody like SBI looks very attractive to us."

He further added, "We believe that quite a lot of pain in term of both the provisioning for employees as well for asset quality seems to have happened in the last two quarters. Maybe one more quarter kind of pain may continue but in terms of the size, their CASA ratio, so their ability to keep their cost under control as well as the overall ability to bounce back looking at the price to book multiple over medium term. We think this is a very good opportunity for investments in SBI."
