Nifty 5600 Call adds 11.5 lakh shares in OI

Nifty 5600 Call added 11.5 lakh shares in OI while Nifty 5300 Put added 7.6 lakh shares in OI.

FIIs were net buyers of Rs 105 crore in Index Futures; which open interest (OI) was up by 5 contracts. Nifty Open Interest PCR was down at 1.22 versus 1.28.

Nifty 5600 Call added 11.5 lakh shares in OI while Nifty 5300 Put added 7.6 lakh shares in OI.

Long buildup & cash based buying were seen in ITC and M&M. ITC rallied 7.2%; its OI was up by 13% and delivery volume jumped at 1.88 crore shares versus 58 lakh shares.

M&M went up 3.2%; its OI was up by 7% and delivery volume increased at 25 lakh shares versus 17 lakh.

Short buildup & cash based selling were seen in Sesa Goa and Mundra Port. Sesa Goa tanked 7.5%; its OI was up by 4% and delivery volume went up at 18.2 lakh shares versus 7.1 lakh.

Mundra Port fell 6.2%; its OI was up by 15% and delivery volume jumped at 16.2 lakh shares versus 4.1 lakh.

Short buildup was seen in ACC. The stock fell 3.4%; its OI was up by 13% and delivery volume increased at 1.36 lakh shares versus 52,000 shares.

Short covering & cash based buying were seen in IDFC. The stock rose 4.3%; its OI was down by 10% and delivery volume jumped at 1.13 crore shares versus 42 lakh.
