SBI Mutual Fund seeks SEBI nod to launch close-ended equity scheme

The open-ended equity scheme, will invest at least 65 percent of its assets in equity and equity-related instruments, while up to 35 percent will be deployed in debt and money market instruments

SBI Mutual Fund has filed draft offer document with Securities and Exchange Board of India seeking approval to launch SBI Equity Opportunities Fund-Series X to XI,  according to the information on the regulator's website.

Each series of the scheme will have a tenure between 3 to 5 years. The close-ended equity scheme, will invest at least 65 percent of its assets in equity and equity-related instruments, while up to 35 percent will be deployed in debt and money market instruments.

It also has the provision to invest up to 10 percent in units of REITs (Real estate investment trusts and InvITs ( Infrastructure Investment Trusts)

Options: Growth and dividend

Minimum application: Rs 5,000 and in multiples of one rupee thereafter

Exit Load: Nil
