TCS Q2 FY25 net profit falls to Rs 11,909 crore, misses estimates; dividend declared

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reported a 1.1% quarter-on-quarter decline in net profit for Q2 FY24, totaling Rs 11,909 crore, falling short of market expectations. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 64,259 crore, surpassing a Moneycontrol poll forecast of Rs 63,938 crore. Analysts had projected a net profit of Rs 12,420 crore. TCS announced a second interim dividend of Rs 10 per share, with a record date set for October 18, 2024. The company had previously paid an interim dividend of Rs 10 on July 19, 2024. Read here
