Zen Technologies shares will be in focus on Monday, June 30, with the grant of a new patent for its laser-based military training systems. The Hyderabad-based defence player said it received its 54th Indian patent — titled "Single ILU Long Pass Filter" — taking its global tally to 82 patents.
The patented technology allows visible and infrared laser beams to merge into a single, steady output. Zen says this leap will significantly boost the precision and realism of its combat training simulators, making them more responsive and effective for field training scenarios.

This development follows closely on the heels of the company’s foray into the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) space earlier in June, through the acquisition of a controlling stake in TISA Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. for Rs 6.56 crore.
Financially, Zen Technologies delivered a stellar performance in the March 2025 quarter. Net profit surged 189 percent year-on-year to Rs 101.04 crore, while revenue from operations jumped nearly 130 percent to Rs 324.97 crore. Operating profit (EBITDA) more than doubled to Rs 138 crore compared to Rs 50.5 crore a year earlier.
In recognition of the strong financial showing, the board proposed a final dividend of Rs 2 per share — a 200 percent payout on the face value.
