
Viridity Tone LLP, owned by private equity firm True North, has offloaded 3.6 percent equity stake in Anthem Biosciences, the contract research, development and manufacturing organization, for Rs 1,262 crore via open market transactions.
Anthem Biosciences closed with moderate loss of 0.16 percent at Rs 660, after sharp recovery from day's low of Rs 608.4 on the BSE, forming long bullish candle on the daily charts.
As per the bulk deals data, Viridity Tone LLP sold 2.03 crore equity shares (equivalent to 3.6 percent of paid-up equity) in Anthem Biosciences at Rs 621.11 per share, amounting to Rs 1,261.7 crore.
However, SBI Mutual Fund, and HDFC Mutual Fund were buyers for some of the shares sold by Viridity Tone. SBI MF picked up 32.26 lakh shares (0.57 percent stake) in Anthem for Rs 200.36 crore, and HDFC Mutual Fund acquired 60.75 lakh shares (1.08 percent) for Rs 377.3 crore. The buying price by both was Rs 621.1 per share.
As of December 2025, Viridity Tone was holding 3.8 percent stake in Anthem Biosciences.
Meanwhile, the action was also seen in Arvind SmartSpaces which shares closed at more than two-year low of Rs 500.9 on the BSE, down 1.02 percent amid high volumes. Pirojsha Adi Godrej, the Executive Chairman of Godrej Properties, has acquired 8.17 lakh shares (1.78 percent stake) in the real estate developer for Rs 40.71 crore from HDFC Capital Affordable Real Estate Fund-1. The shares exchanged at a price of Rs 498 per share.
HDFC Capital Affordable Real Estate Fund-1 had held 8.79 percent stake in Arvind SmartSpaces as of December 2025.
