Expect USD-INR to open around 65.85/USD: Agam Gupta

We expect dollar demand to come in from importers on dips to 65.55-65.60/USD, says Agam Gupta, StanChart Bank.

Agam Gupta, StanChart Bank said, "We expect USD-INR to open around 65.85/USD, slightly higher than the close on Friday. The overnight equity sell-off will keep sentiment slightly weak. We expect Dollar demand to come in from importers on dips to 65.55-65.60/USD. Any upticks towards 66/USD will see some exporter selling to hedge their receivables. We expect a range of 65.60-66/USD for the day."
