Expect US Fed to hike rates in September: Crossbridge Cap

Manish Singh, Crossbridge Capital expects US Fed to hike rates in September.

The US Fed monetary decision is due tonight and the policymakers are expected to provide further clues on the timing of a US rate increase. Manish Singh, Crossbridge Capital in an interview to CNBC-TV18 said he expected Fed to hike rates in September.

Speaking about global markets, he said the house was underweight on emerging markets on expectations of Fed rate hike, and was overweight on Japan and Europe. He expected Eurozone growth rate to improve over the short-term.
