    The 50-share NSE Nifty was trading lower amid volatility but moving within a narrow range of 5480-5505 since the morning trade. Metal, FMCG, auto, oil & gas, power, realty, cement and select financial companies' shares were witnessing selling pressure at 12:25 hours.


    Shanti Nair, Global Strategist, Nomura feels that India is at the high end of valuation range and is more expensive compared to other emerging markets.

    Nair is, therefore, underweight on Indian market. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, she said,
