Data Infrastructure Trust (DIT) has appointed Munish Seth, former country director at Google, as the group managing director of its investment manager Data Link Investment Manager Private Limited.
Seth takes over from Dhananjay Joshi who retiring from his role at DIT and Summit Digitel, a subsidiary.
DIT is managed by Brookfield Asset Management, which owns and operates Reliance Jio's telecom towers in the country. DIT has a portfolio of around 180,000 telecommunication assets across its subsidiaries Summit Digitel and Crest Digitel.
Earlier this year, DIT year acquired 100 percent interest in American Tower’s operations in India.
Seth will lead the development and execution of the company’s long-term growth strategy to meet India’s evolving infrastructure and connectivity needs, across DIT and its subsidiaries Digitel, Crest Digitel and any subsequent acquisition, developing trust and strong relations with our customers and driving employee retention and satisfaction.

He has more than 34 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Before his current role, he was the Country Director at Google, leading the platforms and devices ecosystem business in India and contributing to the growth of the Android ecosystem. Seth has also held leadership positions at Meta and Alcatel Lucent, the company said.
