The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) has raised questions on foreign direct investment (FDI) in brownfield pharma companies.

The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) has once again raised questions on foreign direct investment (FDI) in brownfield pharma.

This is despite the Prime Minister-led panel's decision on 100 percent FDI in brownfield pharma. The DIPP has proposed FDI of 49 percent in some cases.

Meanwhile, the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) had cleared some proposals for 100 percent FDI in brownfield pharma
