FM to hangout on Google+ for first time to discuss Budget

If you ever thought that the Indian government was not tech savy, the finance minister has decided to change that perception.

If you ever thought that the Indian government was not tech savy, the finance minister has decided to change that perception. For the first time finance minister P Chidambaram will respond to citizens' questions about the Budget, and discuss the state of the Indian economy on social media. All one has to do is join the multi-party video conference hangout on Google Plus.


Here is how: Before the hangout, questions can be submitted to the FM either by uploading a video or commenting on the YouTube channel and tagging text.


Eminemt economists and corporate leaders like Jahangir Aziz, Anand Mahindra and Amit Singhal will join the finance minister.
