J&K House to discuss bill on agriculture land

The Jammu and Kashmir government will bring a legislation to control coversion of agriculture land into other activities in the coming budget session of the state assembly.

This was stated by Minister for Rural Development and Parliamentary Affairs Ali Mohammad Sagar while addressing a meeting of a Cabinet sub-committee here today.

The sub-committee was constituted to check conversion of the agriculture land into other activities and prepare a draft bill in this connection.

"The government will bring a legislation to control the conversion of agricultural land into other activities in the coming budget session," Sagar said.
