Hathway Cable Q3 loss may widen to Rs 60 cr: CNBC-TV18 Poll

Hathway Cable and Datacom's third quarter loss is expected to widen to Rs 60 crore from Rs 37 crore in the year-ago period, according to a CNBC-TV18 poll.

Hathway Cable and Datacom's third quarter loss is expected to widen to Rs 60 crore from Rs 37 crore in the year-ago period, according to a CNBC-TV18 poll.

Net sales of the cable based internet connection services provider is likely to be unchanged at Rs 235 crore for October-December quarter compared to same quarter last fiscal.

Operating profit (EBITDA) may decline 35 percent year-on-year to Rs 24 crore and margin may drop 540 basis points to 10.3 percent in the quarter gone by.

In Q3FY15, Hathway will begin reporting net subscription revenue in Delhi. Activation revenue may be lower during the quarter on sequential basis.

The company is expected to have added around 0.07 million subscribers in Q3 against 0.2 million in Q2FY15. However, good traction in broadband business is expected to continue during the quarter.
