Suzlon gets 48.3 mw wind power order from Indian Oil

Wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy has received 48.3 mega watt wind power project order from public sector oil marketing company Indian Oil.

    Wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy has received 48.3 mega watt wind power project order from public sector oil marketing company Indian Oil.


    This is its second order from Indian Oil and Suzlon will set up, operate and maintain wind energy projects in Andhra Pradesh. The project includes supply of 23 wind turbines from Suzlon.


    The power generated will be sold to the local power utility, Suzlon said Wednesday.


    Suzlon had earlier built a 21 mw wind power project for Indian Oil in the Kutch district of Gujarat in 2009.

    Suzlon shares were trading down about 2% at Rs 37.65 in morning trade on NSE.
