Birla Corporation Limited has informed the Exchange that Birla Corporation Limited has singed a memorandum of Understanding with Government of Assam at Guwahati on January 13, 2011 to set up one-million ton greenfield cement plant at Umrangsu at the North Cachar Hills district, Assam at a cost of Rs.450 crores through a Joint Venture Company.
