Amara Raja Batteries Ltd has informed BSE that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on January 24, 2011, Inter alia, to transact the following :

1. To consider the unaudited financial results for the quarter and nine months period ended December 31, 2010.

2. Take up for consideration / approval, "Declaration of one-time Special Dividend" to commemorate the 25 years of existence of Amara Raja Batteries Limited (ARBL).
