United Spirits allots 5 lakh equity shares
United Spirits has alloted 5 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each to shareholders of BDL.

United Spirits Ltd has informed BSE that pursuant to the Scheme of Arrangement between Balaji Distilleries Limited ('BDL') and Chennai Breweries Private Limited ('CBPL') and United Spirits Limited ('USL' / the 'Company') and their respective Shareholders and Creditors (the 'Scheme') sanctioned by the Hon'ble Appellate Authority for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction, the Committee of Directors of the Company, at their meeting held on January 14, 2011 has allotted 5,200,639 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each, fully paid-up, to the equity shareholders of BDL, in terms of the exchange ratio mentioned in the Scheme.
Post-allotment, the paid up share capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 1,307,949,680/- divided into 130,794,968 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each, fully paid up, from the existing paid up shore capital of Rs. 1,255,943,290/- divided into 125,594,329 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each, fully paid up. | | Source : BSE |
