    Panel to select Chief Economic Advisor met today, reports CNBC-TV18 quoting sources. 


    The panel is headed by Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council Chairman C Rangarajan.


    The panel comprises Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), DoPT secretaries.


    Arvind Pangariya, Rajiv Lall are being considered for the post. Raghuram Rajan, UNDP regional director Ajay Chibber are also being considered.

    CEA Kaushik Basu will demit office in July.
