Software player Thinksoft Global Services today said it has signed a Rs five-crore deal with the Reserve Bank to offer a comprehensive end-user acceptance testing tool with full project management responsibility.

"It gives us a sense of pride at having been selected for this important assignment by the central bank, after a stringent selection process. We will work hard and collaborate with RBI in making this project a resounding success," Thinksoft chairman & managing director Asvini Kumar said in a statement.

Thinksoft will also deliver an automated regression test pack for RBI using its in-house 'Artemis' test automation framework. Artemis is specifically meant for use by financial services applications and is both platform and application agnostic.

The RBI is in the process of implementing a centralised core banking solution at all its regional offices encompassing all banking and accounting operations, with a view to align with its current and future infotech requirements.
