After Maruti, HMSI faces labour trouble at Manesar

    After Maruti its Honda Motorcycle which is facing the ire of its workers in Manesar. The two-wheeler manufacturer has been facing labour protests after its disciplinary action against two workers. The management has said that it has informed the Haryana government of the present labour issue and will meet the Labour Commissioner on Thursday, reports CNBC-TV18


    The company took disciplinary against the two workers and suspended them from work. It is said that one of the two workers has resorted to violence. HMSI says that they took the step to avoid Maruti like incident.


    In April 2012, the company has issued a warning to one of the suspended worker. However, he was reinstated after assurance from the union. HSMI said that they will not succumb to pressure tactics of workers. It is said that the present issue has nothing to do wage negotiations.
