Kotak Mahindra Bank on April 15 said that some of its customers are facing issues related to the mobile banking app and the bank’s tech team is addressing the concerns.
“Hello, Apologies for the inconvenience. We’re aware of issues affecting our mobile banking app for some customers. Our tech team is urgently addressing the situation, and we expect a resolution shortly. Thank you for your patience.,” Kotak Mahindra Bank said on a post on X, in response to a customer who sought to know if the bank server was down.
A spokesperson of the bank said, "We regret to inform that our technical servers are currently experiencing intermittent slowness. We are working diligently to resolve the issue and restore services as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding."

Many customers have not been able to use the bank’s services since morning. According to an ET Now report, the bank’s core server is down since morning, which has impacted many services. The report also said that many customers were not able to use the withdraw their cash from ATM and bank’s branches. Online transactions were also affected, the report said.
Netizens expressed frustration over the issue.
One of the bank’s customer said on X: “I am literally stuck in middle of payment in a shop and can’t go anywhere now lol. It was down yesterday for a couple minutes this same time too but was resolved.”
