Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL), a division of Greaves Cotton Limited, is set to start delivering its Nexus electric scooters, marking the 16th anniversary of Ampere, its subsidiary.
The deliveries began in Bengaluru. Ampere's latest offering, the Ampere Nexus, represents its first foray into the high-performance family electric scooter segment, entirely designed, developed, and manufactured in India. The phased delivery approach ensures that all customers who have booked the Nexus scooter will receive their orders promptly across June.
Having initiated bookings for the Nexus at a nominal fee of Rs 9,999 last month, Ampere has reported a positive response from customers. According to a press release issued on June 5, K Vijaya Kumar, executive director and CEO of Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited, expressed pride in celebrating the 16th anniversary of Ampere with the launch of Nexus deliveries.
The Ampere Nexus is available in four vibrant colors: Zanskar Aqua, Indian Red, Lunar White, and Steel Grey.
