Hyundai commences bookings for Creta facelift against token amount of Rs 25,000

Hyundai Creta facelift will be available in six mono-tone colour variants

Automobile major Hyundai on January 2 announced the commencement of bookings for the new version of its Creta brand of car. The bookings can be made against a token amount of Rs 25,000, the carmaker said in a media release.

The Creta facelift, one of the much-awaited releases from Hyundai, will be officially launched on January 16. Interested customers can book this five-seater SUV at any authorised Hyundai dealership or via the brand's online portal "against a token amount of Rs 25,000", the company noted.

The new Creta comes with three engine options including 1.5l Kappa Turbo GDi Petrol, 1.5l MPi Petrol and 1.5l U2 CRDi Diesel options.

The vehicle will be offered with four transmission options including a 6-speed Manual, IVT (intelligent variable transmission), 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission) and 6-speed automatic transmission.

The car will be available in six mono-tone colour options including "Robust Emerald Pearl (New), Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey" and 1 dual-tone colour option available in "Atlas White with Black Roof", the release noted.

"Over the past 8 years, every third midsize SUV sold in our country has been a CRETA, a huge testament to the profound trust and love this brand has garnered among Indian customers," said Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai Motor India.

"Despite the intensifying competition, CRETA has maintained its unrivalled segment leadership, becoming the highest-selling mid-size SUV with over 9.5 lakh customers," he added.
