Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar continues to dominate at the box office as it enters its third week, proving that the film has plenty of staying power.

Despite a nearly 50 per cent drop in collections on Monday, the action-packed drama still earned Rs 16 crore, bringing its total domestic nett to an impressive Rs 571.75 crore.

According to industry tracker, the film is on track to cross Rs 900 crore globally by Tuesday, edging ever closer to the coveted Rs 1,000 crore milestone.

The film's steady performance shows how much viewers have bonded with Aditya Dhar's compelling plot and Ranveer Singh's larger-than-life persona.

On December 22, Dhurandhar became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, surpassing Rishab Shetty's Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1 (Rs 852.31 crore) to reach the Rs 850 crore global milestone.

Industry experts have taken notice of its incredible run, not only because of its impressive numbers but also because it keeps outperforming other highly anticipated releases.

Domestically, the film has outperformed Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal (2023), which grossed Rs 915 crore globally. On its 17th day, Dhurandhar earned Rs 38.5 crore—more than double the Rs 14.5 crore collected by Animal on the same day—indicating that it could surpass Animal’s total worldwide earnings within the week.

Even when compared to blockbusters like Dangal (2016) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), Dhurandhar continues to hold strong domestically.

While the film’s overseas performance has been more modest, with Rs 186 crore collected internationally, audiences in India have been very supportive.

Hindi market occupancy on Monday was 27.26 per cent, which means 16.81 per cent for morning shows and then climbing to 36.66 per cent by the evening screenings, clearly showing the film’s enduring appeal.

Adding to the excitement, Aditya Dhar has announced that the sequel of the film is scheduled for release on March 19, giving fans another reason to stay invested in the high-octane world of Dhurandhar.
