Sushmita Sen redefines power look in hand-embroidered ivory silk jacket

Styled by Theia Tekchandaney, the actress’s charm was undeniable in an ivory Malta silk jacket by designer Rohit Bal, whose brand continues to be loved by celebrities. The hand-embroidered jacket, adorned with tone-on-tone florals, looked regal with its long fit-and-flare silhouette and high collar.

The jacket was paired with an equally stunning black longline piece with a voluminous flare that added richness and enhanced its visual appeal. The fine tailoring is what Bal has long been associated with, and this ensemble stands as proof of his legacy.

For jewellery, Sushmita wore diamond and gold chains with rubies and aquamarines, adding sparkle to her appearance. The well-curated pieces included a necklace and earrings. Her hair was styled in a loose bun with locks framing her face beautifully, while her makeup was well-defined with sculpted brows, smoky eyes, and red lips.

Recently, Sushmita made headlines for walking the runway for Sonali Jain in an opulent, heavily embellished lehenga, pictures of which were shared by the designer with the caption: “The embodiment of grace and unstoppable power. The incomparable Sushmita Sen takes centre stage as the showstopper for the ‘Devi’ collection, channelling the true spirit of the modern goddess.”

Describing the outfit, it further read, “Draped in a regal deep grey lehenga adorned with exquisite gold embroidery, she commands every gaze.
