In the pictures she posted on Instagram, the actress was seen in a vibrant, jewel-toned Paithani saree. The culturally rich teal-green drape featured signature checks and an orange border with peacock motifs. Her blouse, with a deep dori back, matched the impressive border. It was also styled beautifully with gold jewellery to enhance the traditional touch. A stunning choker, a pair of jhumkas, and a stack of bangles on one hand, along with the Peshwai nath, completed her Maharashtrian look. The jewels added to the grandeur of her ensemble, making it look even better.

Her glam was nothing short of perfect and complemented her saree. She looked radiant in soft-glam makeup featuring brushed brows, a thin line of kajal, gold highlighter, and pink-toned lips. Her hair was tied in a classic bun and adorned with white gajra. The Maharashtrian touch wasn’t just in the nath but also in her red chandrakor, symbolising tradition.

Paithani sarees seem to be having their moment this year. Janhvi Kapoor wore one on Ganesh Chaturthi in red, with vibrant florals painted all over the drape. Even Alia Bhatt wore an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla Paithani saree for an event, which was all about traditional craftsmanship and contemporary elegance.
