One look at it from outside, and one is sure that it is one of those ultra luxurious jets. The private jet is 'Gulfstream GV', a long-range business jet that has been customized to suit the needs and requirements of Messi.
Picture this: The jet has 14 reclining seats, 6 beds, 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. The cruise speed of the jet is 1050 km per hour. Plus, it can fly at 51,000 ft and this implies that the jet can avoid air traffic and fly between New York and Tokyo, or London and Singapore, without layovers.

As per a report in Spanish newspaper, Messi purchased the Gulfstream V private jet for $15 million (Rs 135.8 crore). Interestingly, this is not the only jet that the footballer owns. He is also the owner of Embraer Legacy 650 that costs around #35 million (Rs 317 crore).
Messi's jersey number 10 features on the tail of the jet. Also, the steps of the plane features the initials of his wife and three kids name.
Vida Jets, a company that helps celebrities and rich people fly world over in luxury and style, shared on its Instagram page that the interiors of the jet are designed in a manner to offer utmost comfort and rest to the footballer. It also wrote, "For Lionel Messi, every flight is more than a journey, it’s a moment of focus, balance, and presence."
