Alia Bhatt is known for her acting chops, but also her sartorial choices. Recently, the actor attended a friend's wedding reception with husband Ranbir Kapoor in Mumbai and she as usual managed to turn many heads with her choice of saree and overall look.
She draped designer Arpita Mehta's saree with an ivory base. A custom number, this one features intricate mirror work and thread embroidery in light blue colour. On the designer's official Instagram handle, the actor's snaps were posted and alongside them, it was written, "Soft, graceful and luminous @aliaabhatt stuns in a custom ivory sari with intricate mirror and thread embroidery in shades of blue inspired by bandhani patterns."
The saree is clearly can be one of those heirloom pieces that will never go out of style. Alia paired a sleeveless, V-neck blouse to go with the saree. To round off the look in style, the actor wore a pearl choker necklace, matching stud earrings and rings. The jewellery as from Amrapali. She also carried an embellished clutch that went perfectly well with the saree and overall look.
To elevate her stature, Alia chose to wore Fizzy Goblet's Petals and Prosecco heels. As far as makeup goes, it seemed the actor wanted to sport an immaculate look. She tied her hair in a bun and opted for a side partition. Her makeup was dewy, natural and graceful.
Meanwhile, Ranbir wore an embellished black kurta, looking dapper as ever. The duo stepped out together in absolute style and their sartorial picks were in sync.
