  • Alaya F welcomed 2026 in a JJ Valaya silk saree with gold embroidery
  • Her midnight blue saree costs Rs 2,55,000 with sequin, zari, and crystal details.
  • Alaya styled the saree with minimal makeup and Jamini's earrings

Alaya F wore a beautiful silk saree, welcoming new year 2026 in style. For caption, she wrote, "Saal ki shuruat, sari ke saath 🖤" The midnight blue saree can actually be one of those heirlooms apparels that future generations will grab to wear happily.

The custom silk saree is from JJ Valaya's collection and it features gold metallic embroidery, sequin work, zari and crystals. We love how Alaya's stylists draped it so well. The saree was draped in the traditional style and her toned midriff looked stunning as she wore a belt at the waist.

Another thing to love about the outfit is the full-sleeved blouse crafted in velvet fabric. One look at Alaya and what strikes one is how Indian and yet so modern this look is.

To elevate the look, Alaya wore a pair of earrings that went absolutely well with the saree. The earrings are from Jamini's jewellery. Well, can you guess the cost of the saree? On the website, it says it costs Rs 2,55,000.

One can definitely take inspiration from this look and try something like this on festive occasions. Alaya kept her makeup subtle and minimal. Her small black bindi, nude lip and lightly kohli-lined eyes along with mascara did the trick for the actor. She managed to make a statement and look stylish quite effortlessly.

She kept her tresses open and opted for a middle parting. One thing Alaya proved with this look is that sarees can never go out of fashion and they almost never disappoint. This look also showcases that sometimes 'less is more'. Alaya didn't wear jewellery per se except a pair of earrings and yet she made a statement. Since the saree had a slightly heavy feel, one always has the option to skip wearing jewellery pieces altogether.
