There are several benefits of Multani mitti when applied to the skin. Some of them include:

  • Ideal for oily or acne-prone skin: It helps deep-cleanse and control excess oil, unclog pores, remove dirt and dead skin cells, and reduce greasiness.

  • Brightens the skin: Its gentle exfoliating properties help fade dark spots, reduce pigmentation, and promote a healthy, radiant glow.

  • Soothes inflammation: Its natural cooling effect makes it effective for calming sunburns and redness.

  • Helps manage acne: With antibacterial and oil-controlling properties, it’s great for those prone to breakouts.

  • Tightens and detoxifies: It helps tighten the skin, minimise the appearance of pores, and detoxify — leaving your skin feeling fresh and radiant.
How to make a Multani mitti face pack:

Mix Multani mitti powder with rose water or plain water to form a smooth paste. Apply it to your face for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water. You can also add yogurt, honey, or almond milk to customise it based on your skin type. Always consult a dermatologist and do a patch test to check for allergies.
