Ameesha Patel flaunts 400 luxury bags on Farah Khan’s show, says “Could have owned a penthouse”

Gadar star Ameesha Patel’s luxurious lifestyle is sure to cause envy. The actress, who is always dressed to the tee on her outings, is both a bag collector and a shoe hoarder. In a recent episode of Farah Khan’s YouTube show, she not only gave a tour of her beautifully decorated house but also revealed her luxury collection of 400 designer bags.

Impressed with her home, Farah coaxed the actress into showing her luxury bags, commenting, “Whenever I see Ameesha, she is always carrying a new designer bag. I have never seen her repeating her bags.” Ameesha then opened a cupboard where the bags were neatly covered and organised shelf-wise.

She revealed that she has several classic and limited editions, joking, “Had I not bought these bags, I would have owned a penthouse.” Her collection boasts brands like Hermès, Chanel, Dior, and Bottega Veneta, among others. Joking about one of her oversized totes, Ameesha said that people often tell her they weigh heavier than her body weight and she should use them for vegetables and groceries.

If this wasn’t enough, Ameesha also opened another cupboard filled with shoes arranged colour-wise on every shelf. From Gucci to Louis Vuitton, the actress’ collection features every luxury brand under the sun. She even joked that she could kill a thief with her shoes if anyone ever entered her house.

On the show, the actress, who debuted opposite Hrithik Roshan in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, shared, “Ninety percent of my bags are not the classic ones that everyone has, but limited editions.” When Farah asked how she discovers them, she replied, “Many designers know that I have been a collector for years, so they call and inform me about the new launches. Even abroad, sales associates know me well.”

Not just that, Ameesha also has a cupboard dedicated to Chanel bags, including a patent one she has used only once. There’s a dedicated drawer for her clutches and waist bags. The actress added that she loves colour, which is why her limited-edition bags are especially precious to her.
