Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce seems to bring his best game when pop superstar Taylor Swift is in the stands, according to teammate Justin Reid. During a recent interview, Reid, who plays safety for the Chiefs, shared that Kelce’s performance noticeably improves when Swift is present at the games.
Reid made the heartwarming statement during his appearance on Up & Adams on Tuesday. When asked if the 34-year-old athlete performs better when Swift is watching, Reid responded with enthusiasm. "Absolutely. Who doesn’t play better when they want to impress their girlfriend?" he said. He further encouraged the pop icon to attend more games, adding, “Taylor, keep coming to all the games.”
Since the NFL season began in September, the Kansas City Chiefs have secured five wins, with their latest victory coming against the New Orleans Saints on Monday. Swift has been a regular presence at her boyfriend’s games, but she notably skipped two matches earlier in the season. This absence led to rumors that the couple had drifted apart. However, Swift silenced the speculation with a bold appearance at Monday’s game.
For the Chiefs vs. Saints showdown, Swift made a stylish entrance, wearing a plaid Vivienne Westwood top and skirt set. She completed her look with knee-high black boots and a dainty golden purse. The Shake It Off singer also added a playful touch to her makeup, rocking her signature red lipstick with glittery specks on her cheeks.
Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, commented on Swift’s outfit during Monday Night Countdown, saying, “Look at that now…That looks good.”
With Swift cheering from the sidelines, it seems Kelce is all the more motivated to perform at his peak, proving that love can indeed be a powerful motivator on the field.
