The Accountant 2 will launch globally on Prime Video this summer after a triumphant theatrical run and critical acclaim at festivals.

Beginning on June 5, 2025, the action-packed sequel will be accessible to viewers worldwide, giving them the opportunity to re-watch or learn about the most recent development in Christian Wolff's captivating story.

The movie is now ready to reach an even larger audience on the streaming service after winning the coveted SXSW Audience Award and becoming a Certified Fresh release. The Accountant 2 is being hailed as one of the season's must-watch shows because of its intense action and gripping narrative.

Directed once again by Gavin O'Connor, the film is produced by Ben Affleck, Lynette Howell Taylor p.g.a., and Mark Williams, with a screenplay by Bill Dubuque.

Returning to the lead role is Ben Affleck as Christian Wolff, joined by a stellar cast that includes Jon Bernthal, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Daniella Pineda, Allison Robertson, and Academy Award-winner J.K. Simmons.

This latest instalment follows Christian Wolff (Affleck), a brilliant forensic accountant with a deadly skill set, who is pulled back into danger after a former associate is mysteriously murdered. The cryptic final message left behind—“find the accountant”—draws Wolff into a deadly web of intrigue. Realising he cannot face the unfolding conspiracy alone, he turns to his estranged brother Brax (Jon Bernthal), a highly trained and formidable operative, for assistance.

The siblings collaborated with Cynthia Addai-Robinson's character, U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina, to find the truth.

They uncover a dangerous and intricate conspiracy that is protected by a covert gang of assassins who want to keep them quiet before their secrets are revealed.
