Bollywood actor Sunny Deol returned to the silver screen with his blockbuster film Jaat. The actor was previously seen in Gadar 2: The Katha Continues, which was another hit film. The actor has delivered back-to-back blockbusters after a series of flop movies. Jaat is currently premiering in the theatres, becoming his second-biggest release after Gadar 2.
Sunny Deol’s both movies performed well at the Box Office with the fans wondering which film has been in the lead.
According to Sacnilk, Jaat earned around Rs 9.50 Crore India net on its first day. Gopichand Malineni's directorial film grossed around Rs 7.00 Crore on its second day, Rs 9.75 Crore on its third day and around Rs 14.00 crore on day 4, bringing the total toll to an estimated Rs 40.25 Cr India net.
The film features an ensemble cast, including Regina Cassandra and Randeep Hooda, among others in lead roles.
Meanwhile, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 had a great start at the box office. On its opening day, it earned Rs 39 crore. Over the next few days, it collected Rs 42 crore, Rs 51.5 crore, and Rs 38 crore, totaling Rs 170.5 crore in four days.
Sunny and Ameesha Patel starrer film crossed Rs 170 crore in just four days, while Jaat earned much less, around Rs 40 crore. Although Jaat isn't doing as well as Gadar 2, it's still a big success for Sunny Deol, being his second-best opening film.
According to the early estimation, the film added Rs 3.59 crore, making the total Rs 43.84 crore on its fifth day. The makers have huge expectations from the film, and the film is expected to achieve new milestones.
