Shraddha Arya, Neelam Bose Roy and other celebs begin pre-Karwa Chauth celebrations with Mehendi night

Shraddha Arya, known for her role in Kundali Bhagya, shared glimpses of her pre-Karwa Chauth celebrations on Instagram Stories on Wednesday.

As women across India gear up to celebrate Karwa Chauth 2025, several celebrities have already started the festivities with Mehandi ceremonies. Television actress Shraddha Arya and actor Ronit Roy’s wife Neelam Bose Roy were among those who began the celebrations with their friends.

Shraddha Arya, known for her role in Kundali Bhagya, shared glimpses of her pre-Karwa Chauth celebrations on Instagram Stories on Wednesday.

In the photos, she is seen applying mehendi along with her friends, preparing for the festival, which falls on October 10 this year. One particularly sweet image shows Shraddha’s Mehandi design on her hand, with her husband Rahul’s name beautifully written on her palm.

In addition to the photos, Shraddha also posted a fun video where she and her friends are dancing and lip-syncing to the popular song Thumak Thumak.

The clip captures the joy and excitement of the occasion as the ladies enjoy themselves, while also preparing to observe the fast for the long lives of their husbands.

Neelam Bose Roy also shared a series of photos and videos of her pre-Karwa Chauth celebrations. She looked stunning in a dark green kaftan dress while applying mehendi.

In her caption, she wrote, “Pre Karwachauth celebration with friends.” Neelam posed for pictures with several friends, including actress Bhagyashree and Warda Khan Nadiadwala, the wife of producer Sajid Nadiadwala, capturing the festive spirit and camaraderie of the day.

On the personal front, Shraddha Arya tied the knot with Indian Navy officer Rahul Nagal in 2021 in an intimate ceremony in New Delhi. The couple welcomed twins — a son and a daughter — in November last year, adding even more joy to their lives as they celebrate their first Karwa Chauth as a family of four.
