Shark Tank India 4: Anupam Mittal doesn’t like the taste of an aphrodisiac chocolate presented by the pitchers; Peyush Bansal replies, ‘that’s not the purpose’

In the latest episode of Shark Tank India 4, the panel of Sharks—Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal, and Varun Dua—welcomed an intriguing pitch from Saurabh Tyagi and Rekha Lohkna, founders of Nooky, a brand specializing in aphrodisiac chocolates. The entrepreneurs sought an investment of Rs 60 lakh for 1% equity.

The Sharks couldn’t hold back their laughter upon hearing the concept. Peyush Bansal amusingly quipped, “Isme bina chocolate khaye mazaa nahi ayega.” The founders advised them to stick to the recommended dosage of 20 grams.

As the Sharks tasted the chocolates, Aman Gupta playfully acted as if he was experiencing a sudden effect and said, “Mujhe kuch feel ho raha hai,” before teasingly calling Peyush Bansal aside. The lighthearted moment left the panel and audience in splits.

Adding to the humor, Anupam Mittal remarked, “I had the couple chocolates, but mazaa nahi aya.” To which Peyush responded, “That’s not the purpose.”

Despite the entertaining pitch, Aman raised concerns about the ingredients and speculated that the product might face a future ban. Due to these reservations, he opted out. Varun Dua also found the category uncertain and backed out.

The founders made a final attempt to convince the remaining Sharks, but they too declined. Anupam found the taste unappealing and suggested improving the product. Vineeta and Peyush also refrained from investing as the brand did not align with their vision.

Before the founders exited, Anupam humorously asked, “I was asking for a friend, from where can I order the product?” wrapping up the pitch on a fun note.
