Riteish Deshmukh’s commitment to Raja Shivaji keeps him away from Raid 2 trailer launch

Riteish Deshmukh’s absence at the highly anticipated Raid 2 trailer launch raised many eyebrows, especially after fans were treated to a sneak peek of his intense face-off with Ajay Devgn. Sources reveal that Riteish is currently fully immersed in his directorial duties for his passion project, Raja Shivaji, a historical drama that delves into the life of the legendary Maratha warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Riteish is not only directing the film but also taking on the roles of producer and actor, further cementing his versatility and commitment to the project. Raja Shivaji is being produced under Riteish's own banner, Mumbai Film Company, in collaboration with Jio Studios.

According to an insider, "Due to his intense schedule and directorial commitments, Riteish wasn’t able to attend the Raid 2 trailer launch, though he really wished to be there. His schedule for Raja Shivaji is extremely demanding, but despite this, he has expressed his best wishes to the Raid 2 team and is eager to see the audience's reactions."

Even though he couldn't make it to the event, Riteish’s unwavering dedication to his various cinematic ventures is evident. With Raid 2 set for release and Raja Shivaji in production, 2025 looks to be a defining year for the multi-talented actor.
