Aasif Sheikh has recently made headlines for his bond with Salman Khan , which dates back nearly four decades. It started in the late 1980s when the two actors were making their way into the Hindi film industry. Salman Khan quickly achieved fame shortly after his debut in the late 1980s, whereas Aasif Sheikh's path in the industry was slower and less certain.

Although their career trajectories are quite distinct, the connection between the two actors has stayed robust throughout the years.

Their relationship started when Salman was entering the film industry, just prior to Maine Pyar Kiya making him a star.

While Salman’s career skyrocketed, Aasif encountered the fluctuations that numerous actors go through.

In challenging times, Salman remained by his side and provided assistance. In previous interviews, as reported by India Today, Aasif discussed how Salman supported him during times when job opportunities were scarce, including suggesting him for film parts.

Throughout the years, they collaborated on multiple films, such as Karan Arjun, Auzaar, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Bandhan, Bharat, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, with Sheikh primarily taking on supporting roles.

In an earlier interview with TOI, Aasif spoke about his bond with Salman Khan. He shared, "I have had the privilege of being part of numerous films and sharing screen space with Salman Khan, but among them all, 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', holds a special place in my heart. It was also the final or last project of the very talented Satish Kaushik Ji, and all my scenes were alongside him. The moments we shared on set are memories I'll always hold dear."

He further mentioned, "Despite occasional long gaps between our meetings, it feels like no time has passed whenever we reconnect. I deeply admire Salman, particularly his unwavering support during difficult times, which paved the way for me to secure significant roles. Our bond is both special and enduring. I eagerly anticipate collaborating with him and others on more projects. My sole aim in life right now is to continue entertaining viewers."

Aasif is currently renowned as Vibhuti Narayan Mishra from Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. He who has taken on more than 35 female roles in this well-known series. He captured millions of hearts due to his unique style of portraying various amusing characters. He again made headlines following the launch of the movie Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain: Fun On The Run.

Aasif Sheikh was born on November 11, 1964, in New Delhi. Upon finishing English Honours at Khalsa College, he pursued studies in hotel management. His connection with the theaters at Mandi House awakened his enthusiasm for acting.

In 1984, he made his debut in the daily soap opera Hum Log. His entry into Bollywood occurred nearly 38 years ago, and he has acted in numerous films and TV series since then.

In the initial phase of his career, Aasif was seen on screen with the famous actor Dev Anand in the 1991 film Kahan Hai Kanoon. He is said to make between Rs 75,000 and Rs 80,000 for each episode in his enduring role on Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, which constitutes the bulk of his earnings.
