As the new year of 2026 began, on January 1, Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Konidela welcomed the New Year with a special post featuring hubby Ram Charan and their daughter Klin Kara.
Taking to Instagram on January 1, Thursday, Upasana shared an adorable family picture featuring Ram and their daughter. She wrote in the caption, “Happy New Year to all! Wishing you all a very Happy New Year.”
In the picture, Upasana is seen holding Klin Kara, though her face is not visible, while Ram Charan stands behind them. Both parents are seen smiling warmly, making the family moment even more heartwarming.
Ram Charan and Upasana recently announced their second pregnancy during Diwali 2025. Sharing the happy news with fans, they wrote, “This Diwali was all about double the celebration, double the love and double the blessings,” giving a glimpse of their seemantham (baby shower).
Their first child, Klin Kaara Konidela, was born in June 2023. In October this year, Upasana and Ram also posted a video on Instagram announcing that they were pregnant with twins.
The couple got engaged in December 2011 and tied the knot in June 2012 in a grand wedding ceremony held in Hyderabad.
On the work front, Ram Charan was last seen in Shankar’s Game Changer, which failed to make a mark at the box office. He will next be seen in Buchi Babu Sana’s upcoming sports drama, Peddi.
Meanwhile, Upasana recently found herself in the news after she suggested that students at IIT Hyderabad consider freezing their eggs and prioritising their careers, so they could choose to marry when they felt ready. Her remarks sparked widespread discussion online, with many people on the internet, including doctors, calling out the statement and criticising it for various reasons.
