Actor Prabhas has recently announced The Script Craft International Short Film Festival. The actor shared an announcement video on his social media with a The Script Craft website.
The festival aims to give filmmakers and storytellers from all around the world a place to present their work and start their cinematic careers.
Prabhas shared a video on his Instagram with the caption, “Every voice deserves a beginning. Every dream story deserves a chance. #TheScriptCraft International Short Film Festival is here, Inviting storytellers from around the world to begin.”
The actor also added a link for the registration.
Prabhas said in the video, “The Script Craft isn't just a festival—it's where stories become careers.”
All genres are welcome to submit two-minute or longer short films for the festival. Submitted films will compete for ninety days. The audience's votes, likes, and ratings will determine the winners. Production companies connected to The Script Craft platform will be able to view all entries, and the top three films will be chosen.
The announcement video also featured appearances by filmmakers Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Nag Ashwin, and Hanu Raghavapudi.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga said in the video, “Making a short film is the most important aspect in pursuing the filmmaking process. Whatever you have achieved on writing on paper and what you will achieve on screen are exactly two different realities. For all the aspirants, it's the right time to enrol and make the best out of it.”
Nag Ashwin added, “I found Anudeep through a short film on YouTube and that's how ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ happened. I think more than a film school, your work and what you understand of your work is so important. I hope all of you utilise this opportunity to submit your films, make your films and make the best out of it.”
Hanu Raghavapudi said, “Many youngsters have a desire to enter the film industry and direct films. Present your vision, conquer your dream. Good luck”.

As an exclusive partner for up-and-coming directors, Quick TV has joined the program. Fifteen filmmakers from the event will be chosen by Quick TV's internal jury. A ninety-minute script, production support, and a worldwide debut on the Quick TV platform will be provided to each chosen director.
TheScriptCraft.com is now accepting registrations for the festival. We'll soon release information on submission deadlines and categories.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson from Script Craft said, “We believe the next visionary filmmaker can come from anywhere. This platform gives every storyteller a voice, a stage, and an opportunity to be seen by global audiences and leading production houses.”
Thaalla Vaishnav and Pramod Uppalapati launched The Script Craft with the goal of assisting authors, storytellers, and filmmakers by giving them a stage on which to showcase their work.
