Superstar Rajinikanth is gearing up to return in the highly anticipated sequel Jailer 2, and the project has now become even more exciting with a new addition to its cast. According to sources, actress and global performer Nora Fatehi has joined the film.

A source close to the production reveals that Nora Fatehi will be seen in a major song sequence in Rajinikanth’s much-awaited sequel. The actress is reportedly playing a significant part in a special dance number that is expected to be one of the film’s major highlights.

As per the source, Nora is currently in Chennai, shooting for an outdoor, high-energy dance track. The number is being described as a vibrant, upbeat South-style song, which makers believe will stand out as a memorable moment in Jailer 2. The song has been composed by Anirudh Ravichender and is slated for release in 2026, while further details about the sequence are being kept strictly under wraps.

“Nora is shooting for eight days alongside Rajinikanth, which says everything about the scale of this track,” the source stated.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 boasts a powerful ensemble cast featuring Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa, SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Anna Rajan. The film will also include cameo appearances by Shiva Rajkumar and Mohanlal, along with extended special appearances by Nandamuri Balakrishna and Mithun Chakraborty.

Rajinikanth is currently busy shooting for Jailer 2, and the much-awaited sequel is expected to hit theatres in 2026.
