The intimate gathering comes shortly after the couple’s December wedding and highlights the newlyweds’ joyous start to married life.
Newly married Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru recently played gracious hosts with a warm, intimate gathering at their home, inviting close friends to celebrate the festive season together. The cosy evening marked one of the couple’s first social events since tying the knot on December 1, 2025, in a serene ceremony at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore, attended by their inner circle of family and friends.
Samantha shared glimpses from the evening on her Instagram, including snapshots of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and festive décor adorning her home’s staircase. “Do I really need to put the Christmas decor away (sad face emoji),” she wrote alongside a picture of her holiday embellishments, reflecting the joyful atmosphere of the night.
Among those present at the gathering was actor and close friend of Samantha, Tamannaah Bhatia, who appeared all smiles in the photos alongside the newlyweds and other attendees.
Samantha posted several images of the group posing together in front of the Christmas tree, encapsulating the warmth and camaraderie of the evening. The photos quickly drew fans’ attention as they celebrated the start of Samantha and Raj’s married life.
The celebration comes on the heels of Samantha and Raj’s quiet yet heartfelt wedding ceremony last month. The couple opted for a traditional Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ritual at the Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Yoga Centre, choosing an intimate setting that reflected their personal values and spiritual connection.
Since their wedding, the couple has been sharing snippets of their new journey together, including scenes from their honeymoon in Portugal, which delighted fans across social media.
