Bigg Boss Kannada house, which is set in Bidadi, has recently been locked after the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) ordered the power supply to be cut.

Following the lockup, the contestants of Season 12 have been moved to a nearby resort where temporary accommodations have been made. After the production team was asked to leave Jollywood Studios by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, contestants were first relocated to a space resembling an auditorium, according to the reports.

To protect the show's privacy, they were later moved to a resort outside of Bidadi that was off-limits to the public.

The contestants were brought out by Tehsildar Tejaswini herself, who stood in front.  More than 700 people, including contestants and technicians, were forced to exit the house due to Bigg Boss' abrupt shutdown.

The technicians had been reportedly working in three shifts for the last six months. The construction of the Bigg Boss' house allegedly cost over Rs 5 crore.

The Bigg Boss Kannada house was constructed in the style of a palace.

This is the first time that Kiccha Sudeep's wishes were fulfilled, and the house was constructed in a grand style.

During the KSPCB's inspection of the Bigg Boss Kannada set, they found untreated wastewater discharge, an inoperable sewage treatment plant, poor waste management, and the unapproved use of diesel generators.

The board then ordered the electricity to be turned off and asked the production to stop until compliance was ensured.

The question of whether large-scale entertainment productions should be subject to more stringent environmental audits has been raised by this development in industry circles.

The studio was sealed on Tuesday for violating environmental norms.

Bigg Boss Kannada house opened

The crew members reportedly worked around the clock to obtain permissions and guarantee adherence to KSPCB standards. However, the board has finally ordered to open the house.

Shivakumar on Wednesday directed the Bengaluru South district authorities to remove the seal on Vels Studios and Entertainment Private Limited. (With PTI Inputs)
