Rasika Dugal has officially wrapped shooting for Mirzapur: The Movie, and marked the milestone with a cheerful BTS dump on Instagram. The actor, who plays Beena Tripathi, shared a mirror selfie with her team, followed by little on-set details that felt like classic end-of-shoot memorabilia: a peek at what looks like a script page laid under a blue sari, stacked bangles, and a final wrap cake that read, “Wrap for Beena.”
In her caption, Rasika Dugal confirmed the shoot is done and also signalled the film’s release window, writing that it’s “wrapped and announced” with the date set for September 4, 2026. She also posted about reuniting with the “Tripathis” and being back with the same core creative team, tagging director Gurmmeet Singh and writer Puneet Krishna, both closely associated with the original series.

Mirzapur: The Movie is the big-screen expansion of the wildly popular crime thriller universe that began as a streaming series and built a cult following for its power struggles, betrayals, and bloody turf wars in the lawless heartland. This film is being positioned as the franchise’s first theatrical outing, backed by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, with post-production expected to kick into gear after the wrap.
The movie brings back key faces fans associate with Mirzapur’s chaos: Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit, Rasika Dugal as Beena, and Shweta Tripathi among others. Reports also indicate Divyenndu is returning as Munna Tripathi, adding fresh fuel to the franchise’s ongoing lore.
With the shoot wrapped and the release date locked, Dugal’s BTS photos land like a small, satisfying teaser: the war is moving from streaming screens to cinema screens, and Mirzapur’s signature bhaukaal seems fully intact.
