Raayan Twitter Review: Dhanush starrer wins accolades from audience

Raayan, which features Dhanush in the lead role, has hit theaters today. The Tamil film, which has been directed by Dhanush himself,  is one of the most anticipated movies of this year.

Raayan is an action-packed drama that delves into the life of a modest man from North Chennai. The protagonist embarks on a journey of retribution against those who have wronged his family, setting the stage for a gripping narrative filled with emotional depth and high-stakes action.

Raayan is the 50th film of National Award-winning actor Dhanush.

The Tamil Nadu government had on Wednesday permitted Sun Pictures to screen special shows of Raayan on the opening day. As per reports, five shows of the film will be screened between 9 a.m. on July 26 and 2 a.m. the next day.

In Bengaluru, the movie's first show began as early as 6 a.m. on Friday (July 26).

The revenge drama also stars S. J. Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Saravanan.

The film has music by AR Rahman, which is also one of the highlights of the movie. The film has been certified A by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Dhanush had also tweeted early this morning about the film's release and wrote, "Raayan, from today.

The audience is going gaga over the movie, and one user who had watched the early morning show wrote, "#Rayaan is getting blockbuster reports. Can’t wait for FDF."

Fans are also praising Sundeep Kishan for his performance in the movie Raayan. This is Dhanush's second directorial venture after Power Pandi.

Director Selva Ragahavan also watched the movie and was all praise for the performances.
